On this weeks episode Kelly welcomes Kim to the podcast. Kim wanted to come on and share her story in memory of her son Jaxon.

Kim opens up to Kelly and shares her story of pregnancy / birth trauma, all the complications she and Jaxon faced and how they lost Jaxon.

Early on in Kims pregnancy Jaxon was diagnosed with exomphalos. (Omphalocele, also known as exomphalos, is a rare birth defect that occurs when the abdominal wall doesn't form properly early in pregnancy. This allows the infant's abdominal organs, like the intestines or liver, to grow outside the body through the umbilical cord opening. The organs are protected by a thin sac and are usually visible.)

Kim shares her thoughts and feelings around being a Mum on NUCl. Kim described Jaxon as being a little fighter as well as a 'Cheeky Chappy'. He kept the nurses on their toes and showed real personality. Jaxon’s time in hospital was very up and down and they held onto some much hope but sadly after a few months, Jaxon’s health didn't improve and he passed away in Kim's arms.

"I was very blessed to be there when he took his very first breath and his very last."
